Nearshore Reef Guided Snorkel - June 1 @ 8AM
Blue Scholars, ARTSail, and the Urban Paradise Guild will lead a nearshore reef guided snorkel on Miami Beach in celebration of our shared ocean. Snorkel participants will enter the water from shore at 6th Street with experienced guides, dive flags, and other support.
This is a free community event but space in the guided snorkel is limited and advance registration is required, including completion of the Release of Liability Agreement.
Snorkel participants MUST:
have strong swimming skills and ability to complete a 1/2-mile open water distance.
be 12 years or older and accompanied by a parent or guardian if under 18.
supply personal snorkel gear (mask, snorkel, fins) and have prior snorkeling experience.
complete the Release of Liability Agreement (link below) - one form per individual participant.
Suggested to bring: reef-safe sunscreen; reusable water bottle (no single-use plastics, please!); long sleeve rash guard and other sun protection.
